Led by experienced heating engineer Wayne Loco, we provide heating, plumbing, air source heat pump and air conditioning services for homeowners and small businesses throughout Dorset and surrounding areas.
Formerly known as Dorchester Boiler Solutions Ltd, our business has developed alongside the heating industry. What began primarily with boilers, plumbing and traditional central heating now includes modern low-temperature heating systems, air source heat pumps and energy-efficient air-to-air heating and cooling.

Meet Wayne Loco
ThermoLoco is led by Wayne Loco, an experienced heating engineer with more than 15 years' experience working with heating and plumbing systems and, increasingly, renewable heating and cooling technologies.
Wayne's experience covers traditional natural gas and LPG heating systems as well as modern air source heat pumps, air conditioning and refrigeration-based systems.
This combination is particularly valuable with modern heating systems because a boiler or heat pump is only one component of the complete system.
Radiator outputs, pipe sizing, water flow rates, heating-water temperatures, controls, hot water requirements and correct commissioning can all have a significant effect on comfort, efficiency and reliability.
Rather than simply replacing equipment like-for-like, Wayne's approach is to understand how the complete system works and identify an appropriate solution for the property.
From Dorchester Boiler Solutions to ThermoLoco
Many customers across Dorchester and Dorset will know us by our previous name, Dorchester Boiler Solutions.
As the business developed, the old name no longer reflected everything we did.

ThermoLoco isn't committed to recommending one heating technology for every property.

Our aim is to understand the property, explain the available options and recommend a solution based on what the building and customer actually require.
